Frequently asked questions
Is Neptune a comfortable modular sleeper sofa for everyday use?
Absolutely! Neptune is designed to be both a supportive everyday sofa and a convenient guest bed. Its firm, layered-foam cushions provide comfortable seating without a deep sink-in feeling, while its taller backrest offers generous support. When guests arrive, Neptune's integrated sleeper mechanism transforms your modular sofa into a welcoming sleeping space.
Is Neptune a soft or firm sofa bed?
Neptune is one of our firmer sofa beds, designed for people who prefer supportive, structured seating. With approximately 22.4 inches of usable seat depth, it offers a relatively shallow sitting experience that makes it easy to sit comfortably against the backrest. Its supportive foam construction also creates a firm sleeping surface.
Is Neptune a good sleeper sofa for sitting upright?
Yes! Neptune features a taller, more upright backrest than Orian, with an overall sofa height of approximately 34 inches. Combined with its shallower seating, this creates a comfortable, more upright sitting position. Optional headrests provide additional support when leaning back, making Neptune a great choice if everyday seated comfort is a priority.
Can Neptune turn into a Full-size bed?
Yes! Neptune's standard straight three-seat sleeper configuration, approximately 90 inches wide as a sofa, converts into a Full-size bed for overnight guests. Its integrated sleeper mechanism makes conversion easy, while the optional Sleep Kit adds extra cushioning and helps smooth the sleeping surface.
Can I extend just one Neptune sleeper seat for lounging?
Absolutely! Neptune's sleeper modules can extend independently, creating an elevated lounging space while the other seats remain upright. It's perfect for stretching out with a book or relaxing after a long day without converting the entire sofa into a bed.
Does Neptune have built-in storage for bedding?
Yes! One of Neptune's standout features is hidden storage inside every sleeper seat. Each compartment measures approximately 59 × 58 × 14 cm, giving you convenient room for blankets, pillows, and other essentials. It's a smart way to combine everyday seating, guest-ready sleeping, and storage in one modular sofa.
Are Neptune's modular sofa-bed covers machine-washable?
Yes! Neptune's removable seat and back cushion covers are machine-washable, making everyday care easier. Its upholstered arms and base have fixed covers, while the washable cushions help keep your sleeper sofa fresh for everyday lounging and overnight guests.
What's the difference between Neptune and Orian for comfort?
Both are modular sleeper sofas with firm, supportive seating, but they offer different experiences. Orian gives you approximately 3 inches more seat depth and softer back pillows, creating a more relaxed lounging feel. Neptune has a taller, more upright backrest, shallower seating, and built-in storage in every sleeper seat. Choose the one that best suits how you like to sit and relax.
Should I choose the Neptune or Orian sofa bed for overnight guests?
Neptune's standard three-seat configuration converts into a Full-size bed, while Orian creates a Queen-size bed from just two sleeper seats. Orian's standard two-seater sofa is also approximately 17 inches narrower than Neptune's three-seater, making it an appealing choice when space is limited. Choose Neptune for firmer, upright seating and built-in storage in every sleeper seat, or Orian for a compact Queen-size guest bed.
